Next week I will be visiting the country of my birth for the first time since I came to the US as a child. There are of course many complex reasons why I want to visit Germany and why it took so long for me to do so. I’m hoping this will be the first of many.

My upcoming trip is to the 23rd annual Bundestreffen. I have anticipated attending for at least the last ten years. I’m overwhelmed with joy to finally meet the ID community in Germany. How awesome it will be to finally meet face to face the peopleĀ  I have grown to know and respect for such a long time via email and telephone conversations.

How amazing this feels like I’m going to a family reunion.

the real story..

Over the years, elements of my background & life have been documented in publication & film. I will link here to available public postings about me. Here I’d like to focus on today & tomorrow (with some reflection, of course along the way) and invite the reader to share in my life here and now. By the sheer Grace of God, I have survived my past with bumps, bruises & scars and by faith claim victory over today and the future.

Perhaps, in walking with me the reader will find something of value that will provide refreshment our ambitiously, I propose nourishment.
